
I have learned that in Maya you can use the hierarchy in the same way as in Unity or Unreal. It is possible to make elements child objects of a parent object. By editing the parent object, it will edit all of its child objects in unison
Since Unity and Unreal share the same feature, it is easy for me to comprehend and it will become very useful later on. Especially during the gun model where I may have many components that are related, and I want to ensure they are all scaled equally or moved/rotated for example.
